Both the fall and winter programs can offer excellent opportunity for aurora viewing. The trip includes round trip bush plane air charter between Yellowknife and Blachford Lake Lodge, all-inclusive accommodations in log cabins or the main lodge, all meals at Blachford Lake Lodge (homemade bake goods and northern country food), on site activities, the use of equipment including snowshoes, cross-country skis, ice fishing equipment and ice skates and an Aurora Adventure certificate.

Aurora Village offers a city tour and a variety of outdoor winter activities. Thirty minutes out of Yellowknife by motorcoach at their winter village site, you can enjoy dog sled rides, snowmobile tours, snowshoeing, sliding, skating, northern lights viewing and photography. End the tour by warming up in traditional teepees.
